Client Accounting Services

Client Accounting Services

Growing businesses need more than year-end bookkeeping. James S. Wang, CPA provides outsourced accounting support that can combine monthly close, financial reporting, payroll and practical guidance with the company’s tax work.

An Accounting Function Scaled to the Business

Services are tailored to the accounting platform, transaction volume, internal staff and reporting needs. The engagement can support an existing bookkeeper or provide a broader outsourced accounting process.

Core Accounting Operations

  • Bank, credit-card, loan and balance-sheet reconciliations
  • General-ledger maintenance and transaction coding
  • Accounts payable, billing and accounts-receivable support when included
  • Monthly or quarterly financial statements and management reports
  • Year-end closing and fixed-asset coordination

Systems, Payroll & Compliance

  • Accounting-system setup, cleanup and workflow improvements
  • Payroll processing and payroll-account reconciliation
  • Sales tax, Forms 1099 and other recurring compliance when included
  • Support and supervision for internal bookkeeping staff
  • Budget, cash-flow and performance reporting based on agreed scope

From Bookkeeping to Actionable Information

Client Accounting Services are designed to keep records current enough to support decisions during the year—not simply reconstruct activity at tax time. Timely reports can help an owner understand cash flow, margins, payroll costs, receivables and upcoming tax obligations.

When accounting, payroll and tax services are coordinated, the same records support the monthly close, quarterly projections and annual returns. This reduces duplicate requests and helps identify problems such as unreconciled payroll liabilities, missing loan balances, incorrect owner activity or expenditures that should be capitalized.

Financial statements and management reports are prepared for internal management and tax purposes only. No assurance is provided.

A Good Fit for

  • Closely held businesses without a full internal accounting department
  • Professional service firms that need reliable monthly reporting
  • Businesses moving from reactive bookkeeping to a recurring close
  • Owners who want payroll, accounting and tax coordinated
  • Companies that need cleanup before ongoing services begin

CAS Onboarding

1. Accounting assessment. We assess the systems, accounts, transaction volume, internal responsibilities and condition of the books.

2. Cleanup and transition. Prior-period corrections, data access and recurring deadlines are documented.

3. Recurring close. Records are reconciled and checked on the agreed schedule, with questions routed to the appropriate contact.

4. Reporting and coordination. Financial information is delivered and connected to payroll and tax planning when included in scope.

Build an Accounting Process That Can Grow

Provide the entity type, accounting software, approximate monthly transaction volume, number of accounts, employee count and how current the books are. We will confirm whether cleanup, recurring bookkeeping or broader CAS support is appropriate.
